MOHAMMAD CARTOON

  Commentry for the above Issue : [ Total Postings : 3 ]
  Enough is Enough
Disgraceful because publishing a cartoon or ripping up a page from a book is not a violent act. Yet in response to a cartoon or ripping up a piece of paper, it is supposedly OK to kill and destroy. Sure, that makes sense. What it really does is tell us very clearly what we are dealing with. We are up against fanatics (actually lunatics). Thus, although I try to be an honorable follower of Jesus, I'm afraid that I have to advocate meeting violence with greater violence in these instances. History shows, that when dealing with fanatics, the only way peace is achieved is when one side defeats the other. If you continue with nonsensical violence, I'm ready to kick your ass (and obliterate all of your comrades) to achieve peace.

  Unfortunately Violence Works
I bet that anti Muslim print will be hard to find for a long while after the protests . . . you see, violence and riots have made a point and have also made a difference. Sad or a just a fact of life . . . I can't decide, but let this be a lesson, violent protest has worked again whether we like it or not. Civilized people better always be on the ready to nip violent behavior in the bud (act strongly and quickly), or our world is going to deteriorate further.

Is the recent Mohammad cartoon psychological warfare?
One has to wonder about the timing and (predictable) reaction this cartoon had.

It could very well be a polarizing catalyst shaping the lines between "the west" (europe and the US) and the muslim world in an effort to develop a euro-american coalition against Iran.

Hope i'm wrong!
